UNITAC COMPANY L.L.C. is a company registered in the United Arab Emirates doing Shipchandling services and operating under the laws of United Arab Emirates.

The Company operates from its head office in Sharjah and has big warehouses to store engineering items and provisions. It has also established liaison offices in Dubai, Khorfakkan and Fujairah for easy communication with the customer and to provide strategic services to ships calling at any of the seven ports in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Jebel Ali, Fujairah, Ras -al-Khaimah, Khorfakkan and Ajman.We have assosiated suppliers in Qatar, Oman, Kuwait & Singapore. 

Unitac has played an integral part in the growth of shipping industry in the Middle East for more than 39 years providing shipchandling services to most of the major shipping companies. The company entered into shipchandling in 1976 with an enterprising UAE National at the helm of affairs.

All supplies of provisions, consumer goods, engineering items etc., are done from Sharjah head office/warehouses exclusively to the seven ports in U.A.E.  Unitac commits itself to deliver supplies any time and on time, all round the year for any ships calling at any of the seven ports. The supplies may include items for deck, cabin or engine or provisions for the ships or consumer goods required by the ship’s crew. The shipchandling services are carried out with evident professionalism and ease, appreciated and commended by many customers.

Unitac has 60 personnel with employment backing up it round the clock and round the year. The Company is also tied up with most of the leading shipping agencies in UAE to supply ships anchored at port or at rendezvous point at high seas.

Unitac Sharjah warehouse facilities include cold storage facility, both freezers and chillers, to store 100 tons of meat and 25 tons of chiller supplies.

Unitac delivers the Frozen and chiller supplies in its own temperature controlled mobile freezer vans. Unitac maintains duty-free outlets inside some of the ports to provide the entire range of electronic goods and branded stores for ship’s crew.

The Management has placed emphasis on establishing defined Quality Management System to demonstrate it’s commitments to provide quality products and services  to gain, sustain and grow confidence of its customers. This has led to the adoption and implementation of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001-2015 Environmental management system, OHSAS 18001-2007 Occupational health and safety management system ,ISO 22000-2005 Food safety management system , HACCP CODEX ALLIMENTARIUS Quality System requirements in the organization of UNITAC, ICV Certified.

The Management have endeavored to ensure that a well-defined Quality Assurance Manual and Quality Procedures be developed in order to guarantee the highest standards of performance to existing and prospective customers. The Company is prepared to undertake all types of supply activities and will strive to execute the same in the most efficient, cost effective and possible expedient way. Customer’s requirements are of paramount importance and as such the Company recognizes the need for a 24 hour, 365 days service to meet deadlines.
